A Single Stock Future (SSF) is a future whose underlying is an individual stock or a narrow based index. Currently the CFTC does not allow US legal residents to trade SSFs outside of the United States. - Securities futures listed on the Spanish Futures & Options Exchange (MEFF) and BorsaItaliana (IDEM) Exchange will be held in an IBKR securities account, subject to SEC customer protection rules. Except as otherwise stated on the IBKR website, U.S. and non-U.S. listed securities futures products will be held in an IBKR commodities account, subject to CFTC customer protection rules.
