About the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX)

Established in 2000, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is the principal stock exchange of the United Arab Emirates. It lists some of the region’s most prominent companies across banking, energy, real estate, and telecommunications sectors.

ADX has seen significant growth in market capitalization and trading activity, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s expanding role as a financial hub connecting global investors with the Gulf region.

Market hours are Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 – 15:00 Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4).

Eligible clients can request trading permission for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange by:

  1. Logging in to Portal
  2. Navigating to the User > Settings > Trading Permissions menu item
  3. Selecting Stocks > Add/Edit (or Request)
  4. Selecting United Arab Emirates
  5. Selecting Continue, then OK
